If you wish a paid shuttle service to the airport, please contact our staff in the hotel office at least 24 hours before your departure.

Ayurveda

If you want to do something for your well-being, we can organize an Ayurveda treatment for you in a nearby Ayurveda center. For more information, please contact our staff at the hotel office, who will also book an appointment at the Ayurveda center for you if you are interested. The Ayurveda center is located outside our hotel in Hikkaduwa. You will be picked up by a staff member of the Ayurveda Center and brought back to our hotel after the treatment. We ask you to shower thoroughly after an Ayurveda treatment before you lie down in your bed, as the massage oil can lead to soiling of the bed linen.

Beach

We would like to point out that in our beach section there are sometimes very strong currents and waves. Bathing is at your own risk and the hotel is not responsible for any bathing accidents.

Breakfast is from 07:30 to 10:00 in our restaurant. Breakfast menu =>> 

Bus and train

You will find a bus stop directly in front of our hotel. From here buses depart in the direction of Hikkaduwa bus stand, Galle and to Colombo. From the Hikkaduwa bus stand, about 2.5 km from our hotel, there are also express buses and A/C buses heading to Colombo. 
If you would like to travel by train, the Thiranagama Railway Station is located about 100 meters from our hotel. However, only a few local trains stop at this station in the direction of Galle and Colombo. The next larger railway station is Hikkaduwa, about 2.5 km from our hotel. From here there are also express trains in the direction of Colombo and Matara, some of them with 1st class compartments and air conditioning. Information on this can be obtained from our staff in the hotel office.

Departure

On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11:00 am. If you wish a later departure, a late check out is possible depending on availability for an additional charge. Please contact us in good time in this regard.

Excursions and tours

If you are interested in excursions in the surrounding area or round trips through Sri Lanka, talk to us in the hotel office and we will organize everything for you. A selection of possibilities can be found here in the digital guest folder.

Extension of your stay

If you like it so much that you would like to stay longer, please contact our staff in the hotel office directly and we will see what we can do, depending on availability.

Laundry service

We also offer laundry service at affordable prices, if you want to use our laundry service we will provide you with laundry bags. If you leave your laundry with our hotel staff by 10:00 am, you will usually get your laundry back the next day....

Light & A/C

For ecological reasons we ask you to turn off the A/C and lights when leaving the room.

Restaurant

Our restaurant has a variety of food and drinks ready for you. The restaurant is open from 07:30 to 22:00. Last order for dishes is at 21.00. You can also find a selection from our menu in our digital guest folder. => Menu
Distortion of food and beverages purchased outside the hotel is not permitted in any area of the restaurant.

Room service

For ecological reasons, we provide room service according to the needs of our guests. If you want your room to be cleaned, your towels and bed linen to be changed, please inform our office and leave your room key there. 

Satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with something or find any deficiencies in your room, please contact our service team or management immediately. We will try to help you as soon as possible and eliminate the defects. The satisfaction and well-being of our guests is very important to us.

If you liked it very much with us and you felt comfortable in our hotel, we would be very happy about a good review. 

Shopping options

Across the street from our hotel you will find a small store for daily necessities. You will also find a small supermarket on Pinkanda Road behind the railroad crossing, about 150 m from the hotel. A larger selection can be found at Sandigiri Supermarket on Galle Road, about 1.5 km from the hotel.

Sim card

We recommend a sim card from Mobitel with the best network coverage in Sri Lanka and especially in our hotel.

Smoking

We ask you not to smoke in the rooms of our hotel. You have the possibility to smoke on your terrace / balcony.

Swimming pool

Please note our pool rules.

• The pool can be used in the period from 08:30 to 22:00
• Please shower and rinse the sand thoroughly before using the pool
• Please do not use the pool with suntan oil
• The use of the pool is at your own risk, the hotel assumes no liability in case of swimming accidents
• Do not take food and drinks into the pool
• The pool is only for hotel guests

Wifi

In our hotel the use of Wifi is free. We ask for your understanding not to make large downloads, such as movies and streaming services. The current password: Sunshine1510.
